Last weekend was the most incredible Football weekend I think I have ever seen! After a disappointing wild card round, the divisional round blew everyone away. Every game was decided on the final play of the game. We are down to the last four teams in the NFL this week in the Conference Championship for each conference. We went 2-2 on our picks, but an impressive 6-3 in our betting picks. Let’s see who wins their Conference Championship and advances to the Super Bowl!
Cincinnati Bengals at Kansas City Chiefs
Joe Burrow has completely changed the culture of the Cincinnati Bengals. In just the last two weeks, he has won the first home playoff game for the Bengals in over 30 years and the first road playoff game in the franchise’s existence. Burrow and the Bengals are making a lot of noise. Even with getting pummeled for nine sacks last week Joe Burrow still battled and wasn’t fazed, leading his team to a win.
The Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes reminded everyone last week that the AFC still goes through them. They beat the Bills in such an improbable fashion that it’s impossible to bet against them. The Chief’s offense can score no matter how much time is on the clock.
These two teams played just a few weeks ago, and the Bengals won that shootout, but they do have to travel into Arrowhead. The fact that they are such heavy underdogs is very puzzling to me. The Bengals just proved that they could go score for a score vs. the Chiefs, so why the high number? This week, the Bengals have to protect Joe Burrow because Patrick Mahomes will make you pay if you keep giving him chances.
I’m going with the Bengals one more time to prove us all wrong. No one has taken them seriously, no matter what obstacle they overcome. This game will be high scoring, and just like last week, the team who has it last will win and punch their ticket to the Super Bowl.
such a clutch play from Joe Burrow & Ja’Marr Chase to set up the game-winning field goal. Titans in 2 man, Chase with a clean release vs press and gets on top, Burrow throws before he’s out of the break.
