Los Angeles Rams at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Matthew Stafford showed up big for the Rams playoff win accounting for three touchdowns. Now that he has settled in on the Rams, Odell Beckham is going through a resurgence. He is finding the RedZone at an alarming pace. Plus, Cam Akers miraculously returned in about six months from his Torn Achillies and was running with violence Monday night. The Rams running game is getting a big boost with Akers back in the backfield. The Rams are operating on a shorter week since they played Monday night.
The Buccaneers made easy work of the Eagles in the opening round and didn’t miss a beat. It’s tough to pick against Tom Brady no matter what jersey he is wearing. Brady is 5-0 in the playoffs as the Buccaneers starting quarterback. This game comes down to quarterbacks. Do you trust Brady or Stafford with your season on the line?
Betting Pick: Over 48.5
Buffalo Bills at Kansas City Chiefs
We have a rematch of last year’s AFC championship game. The Bills and Chiefs blew the doors off their opponents in the opening round. The Bills have been committed to running the ball the last two months, and their offense is becoming more balanced and dangerous. Josh Allen played one of the best games we have ever seen a quarterback play in the playoffs. The Bills offense scored a touchdown on every drive until the end of the game when they kneeled to close it out.
The Chiefs started slow last week and were even losing 7-0 but quickly reminded us how dangerous and unstoppable this offense can be against a respectable Steelers defense. This game has all the makings of being a shootout with all the stars showing up big. Patrick Mahomes is 6-2 in the playoffs in his career, and both losses came at the hands of Tom Brady. I think the Bills are ready for the big moment.
