Welcome back to our Five Favorite Bets For Week 13 of the 2021 season! Last week we went three for five and missed some covers from the Titans and Vikings. As a result, we are now at 31-36 for Best Bets and 96-70 overall. It’s time to rebound and get back on the board in Week 13.
Dallas Cowboys (-5.5) at New Orleans Saints
Both of these teams had disappointing Thanksgiving losses and are turning around to play another Thursday game. Dallas is dealing with Covid issues and will be without head coach Mike McCarthy. Taysom Hill looks to be taking over for Trevor Siemian. Saints play the Cowboys close and cover, but Dallas wins.
Pick: Saints +5.5
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-10.5) at Atlanta Falcons
Tampa Bay is a shocking 4-1 ATS when the spread is double digits or higher. This points to them blowing out bad teams (the only loss was to The Washington Football Team). The Falcons won’t be able to match up with Tampa. The Buccaneers will win big and keep the winning streak going.
Pick: Buccaneers -10.5
Los Angeles Chargers at Cincinnati Bengals (-3)
The Bengals are coming off a huge division win, and the Chargers are coming off of a loss. The Bengals are 7-4 and have spanked both the Steelers and Ravens this season. They are a serious contender for the playoffs. The Chargers have been hard to figure out (like most of the NFL). We should see a shootout with two of the young stars in the NFL. I also like the Bengals to cover the three at home as a bonus bet.
Pick Over 50.5 (Bonus Bengals -3)
Philadelphia Eagles (-7) at New York Jets
The Eagles were unable to beat the other New York team last week. The Jets upset the Texans. We see another low-scoring game here that I think the Eagles should win, but I think 7 points on the road is too much respect for them.
Pick: Under 45.5 (Bonus play +7 Jets)
Minnesota Vikings (-7) at Detroit Lions
Both DeAndre Swift and Dalvin Cook may miss because this game because of injuries. The first time these two teams played, it was a 19-17 loss for the Lions on the road. I think we see a close game here as well but also another low-scoring game.
Pick: Under 46.5
