Welcome back to our NFL Picks for Week 3. Last week we went a respectable 11-5. That brings our season total to 20-12. So let’s see if we can make another improvement with our NFL Week 3 picks.
Carolina Panthers at Houston Texans
The Texans put up a big fight in Week 2 on the road against the Browns and gave them everything they could handle. In week two, the Panthers throttled the Saints and are one of the few 2-0 teams in the NFC. The Texans have to start Davis Mills this week with Tyrod Taylor injured. The Panther’s defense is legit, and Mills will struggle in his first career start.
Washington Football Team at Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills are coming off a huge shutout victory over their division rival, the Miami Dolphins. WFT’s Taylor Heinicke threw for over 300 yards in the Week 2 win. The Buffalo defense is undoubtedly more of a test than the Giants. Washington keeps it close early, but the Bills offense is too much in the second half.
Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans
The Colts gave the Rams all they could handle. Meanwhile, the Titans won a huge game on the road in Seattle. I think the Titan’s offense is coming into form, and the Colts still don’t have enough weapons healthy to match the Tennessee score for score. Titans will win a sneaky shootout.
