Memphis Grizzlies

Memphis Grizzlies vs. New York Knicks

This game is a classic hot versus cold matchup. The Memphis Grizzlies are hitting their stride as they’ve won four straight games while the New York Knicks have dropped five of their last six. The Knicks have been playing Elite defense all year, they rank 1st in total points, field goal %, and 3PT% surrendered. Their offense, however, has run cold in recent games. They’ve scored below their average total score in four of their last six games.

The Memphis Grizzlies are not the “Get Right” team for the New York Knicks. The Grizzlies are 7-3 straight up, and 9-1 against the spread across their past ten games. They’re playing on the road, but Memphis has more wins on the road than they do at home in 2021; they provide a ton of upside despite the narrow edge the sportsbooks offer. The opening spread for this game is 1.5 points in favor of the visiting Grizzlies, but I’m sticking to the money line value. The Memphis Grizzlies are getting -120 odds for a straight-up win; grab the number before any extreme movement.

Aaron Gordon

San Antonio Spurs vs. Denver Nuggets

Denver is another very profitable NBA team right now. They’ve won eight of their last ten games and are 7-3 ATS across the same period. The Spurs are barely hanging on in the Western Conference; they’ve won just two games in their last ten and covered the same amount across the ten-game period. Denver is a far better team right now; they’ve won seven straight games while the Spurs have dropped four straight. I feel very comfortable taking the Nuggets on the spread.

The opening spread is 6.5 points in favor of Denver, and I expect them to sail over this number. The Spurs have lost by significant margins in their past few games, and I expect we’ll see them blown out again. Denver’s starting five is vicious with the addition of Aaron Gordon; this team is shaping up to be a real contender. Denver has missed Jamal Murray the past two games, but the team didn’t blink in his absence. Give me Denver and the points tonight!

Nicola Vucevic

Chicago Bulls Vs. Atlanta Hawks

This game features two teams playing excellent basketball right now. The Bulls are coming off of two big wins against the Pacers and Nets and have covered the spread in five straight games. The Atlanta Hawks are coming off a tough loss from the Memphis Grizzlies but won four consecutive games before the flop. The Bulls have sharpened their blades against some very talented teams in recent games; they beat Brooklyn and covered against the Jazz and the Suns.

The Atlanta Hawks have been great at home, recording a 7-1 record across the spread in their last eight home games. The Hawks are also 4-1 across the spread in their previous five games. However, the Hawks could be without Clint Capela tonight; be sure to follow his status leading into the game. People also forget how well the Bulls play in Atlanta; they’ve covered the points in five straight visits. I’m taking the Bulls to cover +3, Vucevic has settled into this lineup, and the team is playing well against some of the best teams in the NBA.
