Welcome back to our Five Favorite Bets For Week 17! Last week we had two wins and three losses. Our season total is now 40 wins, 37 losses, and two pushes. We only have two weeks left to get our 5-0 sweep. We go for it again this week with our Five Favorite Bets For Week 17.
Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts
The Jaguar’s lone win on the season is against the Colts, which came in week 1. That game is the reason the Colts don’t control their destiny. The Jaguars have gotten blown out the last two weeks, and I think that will continue. They have sole possession of Trevor Lawerence in the NFL Draft Sweepstakes, and the Colts will get revenge for Week 1.
Pick: Colts -13.5
Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans
If the Titans win this game, they will be the AFC South champions. Their defense is their weakness, but there is a chance the Texans will be without Deshaun Watson in this game. The Titans received a beating from the Packers on Sunday night. They will take it out on a depleted Houston team and win their division.
Pick: Titans -7.5
Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns
Mason Rudolph will be starting for the Steelers this week for a resting Big Ben. The Steelers could get the second seed in the AFC with a Buffalo loss, but they would still be playing next week. Cleveland still has to handle business and win this week. I think they learned their lesson, and we will see a lot more Kareem Hunt and Nick Chubb this week.
Pick: Browns -10 (Under could be in play)
New Orleans Saints at Carolina Panthers
The Panthers upset the Football Team on the road and prevented them from winning the NFC East. The Panthers have been playing hard all year and nearly upset the Saints earlier this year. I believe they will show the same fight on Sunday. I don’t know if they have enough to pull out the win, but they will be able to cover.
Pick: Panthers +6.5
Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bucs destroyed the Lions last week, and I think they will beat the Falcons comfortably. With a win, the Buccaneers will clinch the NFC fifth seed; they will play the NFC East winner. Tom Brady and his Bucs appear to be rolling, and they will get into the playoffs with some momentum.
Pick: Buccaneers -6.5
