Five Favorite Bets Week 16

Imran Khan

Welcome back to our Five Favorite Bets For Week 16! Along with the rest of the football world, we were stunned when the Rams and Steelers both outright lost their games. Last week we had two wins and three losses. Our season total is now 40 wins, 37 losses, and 2 pushes. We only have two weeks left to get our 5-0 sweep. We go for it again this week with our Five Favorite Bets For Week 16.

Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints

The Saints have lost two straight games, but the good news is that Drew Brees looked much better in the second half against the Chiefs. The problem is all of the Saints’ wideouts are banged up and they are shorthanded heading into the NFL’s final two weeks.

The Saints need this game to clinch the NFC south. Meanwhile, the Vikings were upset by Mitchell Trubisky and the Bears last week who ultimately have ended any realistic playoff hopes for the Vikings. I think the Saints are the better team but the Vikings have a lot of firepower on offense and will keep this game close.

Pick: Vikings +7 ( over 51 looks good too)

Atlanta Falcons at Kansas City Chiefs

The Falcons are coming off another game this year where they blew a big second-half lead. They now travel to face the Chiefs in Kansas City. The good news is they won’t blow a lead here, because they will never have one. The Chiefs will win this game big and cover the double-digit spread. If the Falcons show any life the over is in serious play.

Pick: Chiefs -10.5 ( Over has a shot)

Denver Broncos at Los Angeles Chargers

The last time these two teams matched up it was a high-scoring affair with the Broncos beating the Chargers 31-30. Justin Herbert is playing fantastic in his rookie season and by all accounts should be the NFL Rookie of the year. I think we see another high scoring affair on Sunday with Drew Lock and Justin Herbert putting on a show.

Pick: Over 48.5

Cleveland Browns at New York Jets

The Browns have a serious shot to win the AFC North. That is not a typo. Cleveland has had a great season and Kevin Stefanski should be the Coach of the year for the job he has done. The Jets won against the Rams last week but probably lost Trevor Lawerence in the process. Expect a heavy dose of Kareem Hunt and Nick Chubb as the Browns lock up their playoff spot and continue to fight for the AFC North. This will be a low-scoring affair as the Browns will control the ball and limit the Jet’s chances to do anything.

Pick: Under 47

Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys

The Eagles look like a completely different offense with Jalen Hurts at the helm. You have to wonder what could have been for their season had Doug Pederson put Hurts in earlier. Dallas has been playing much better the last few weeks and running back Tony Pollard has been making a lot of plays for them. I think we a lot of offense here and not much defense. I love the over in this game.

Pick: Over 49.5
