In what could be a photo finish, the AFC South has two teams fighting to be crowned Division Champs. Unfortunately, the two teams out of the race are the Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars. However, they have taken some strides in the right direction and should make a right race righter in 2021.

Indianapolis Colts:

Currently sitting at 7-3, the Indianapolis Colts are leading the AFC South. Last week against the Green Bay Packers the Colts elite defense created four turnovers to help them secure a win. On offense, we saw Philip Rivers still has something left in the tank. Throwing for 288 yards and three touchdowns, Rivers showed he is still committed to getting a Super Bowl Title.

The Colts have a tough stretch to finish the season. Four of their final six games are against division opponents, which are usually grueling matchups. Their two non-divisional games come against the Las Vegas Raiders and Pittsburgh Steelers which will pose a challenge. That being said, the Colts are a tough battle-tested team and want to prove they should be Division Champs.

Tennessee Titans

Also sitting at 7-3 are the Tennessee Titans. Due to the Titans losing to the Colts earlier this season, the tie-breaker sits with the Colts. Last week, however, the Titans won an overtime thriller against the Baltimore Ravens. The Titans’ key to success was a strong rushing attack led by Derrick Henry. Against a solid Baltimore defense, Henry managed to rush for 133 yards and a score. The Titans running back is making a case to be named the best running back in the league.

The Titans have a more balanced schedule to end the season compared to the Colts. Tennessee will have the Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions, and Green Bay Packers to face outside of their division rivals. Fortunately, the Titans have a struggling Lions team on the schedule whereas the Colts only have playoff contenders remaining.

And The AFC South Winner Is:

Even though the Colts will lose this week against Tennessee Titans they will still win the division. Powered by a prolific defense and Philip Rivers hitting his stride, the Colts will have success. In their upcoming matchup, Rivers will out-duel his fellow draftee Ben Roethlisberger which¬†will ignite the Colts’ warpath. The Indianapolis Colts are the real deal and will show you why on their way to AFC South Champions.

The Dallas Cowboys’ 2020 season is one of the roughest years for the organization to date. Dak was lost for the year in Week 5, Zeke is suffering from a case of butter-fingers (5 fumbles), and their defense can’t hold an offense out of the end-zone. But for all the mediocre play […]
