Sit or Starts: Week 11

This NFL season is flying by as we find ourselves in Week 11. Fantasy owners are looking to fill the remaining holes on their teams and fix any issues they have with their lineup as we pull into the final stretch before the playoffs. Owners of Drew Brees or Joe Mixon might have to look further down their bench for who to sit and who to start this week. I am here to help with my best sit and start candidates this week!

Start ‘Em

Dionte Johnson
via ClutchPoints

Diontae Johnson – at the Jacksonville Jaguars

Steelers Wide Receiver, Diontae Johnson, has emerged as one of Big Ben’s favorite targets. Johnson has seen double-digit targets in over half the games he has suited up for this year. Injuries have been about the only thing to slow him down this season.

The second-year receiver has a stellar matchup against the Jaguars this week, who rank in the bottom third of the league in points given up to opposing wide receivers. Fantasy owners who missed Diontae’s big game last week should fire him up and look for Johnson to have another strong showing.

Nyheim Hines

Nyheim Hines – against the Green Bay Packers

Jonathan Taylor owners might just want to keep scrolling. Nyheim Hines totaled 115 yards from scrimmage last week in a blowout against the Tennessee Titans. Hines saw 56% of the snaps in last week’s game and managed to score two touchdowns as well.

The Colts matchup against the Packers this week, who have struggled mightily against the running back position. Expect Hines to see a healthy dose of targets in the passing game this week if the Colts find themselves in a hole early. Hines is a strong FLEX play this week.

Tee Higgins
via DraftKings

Tee Higgins – at the Washington Football Team

Second-round pick, Tee Higgins, is one of the league’s most exciting rookies this year. Donning the 85 jersey for the Bengals, Higgins has managed to put up six consecutive games of 60 or more receiving yards.

A week removed from a career-high 115 yards, Higgins has an enticing matchup against the young Washington Football Team defense. With the workload the Bengals have given the rookie, he can be trusted in your Week 11 lineup and has great matchups moving forward this season.

Week 11 Start Honorable Mentions: Justin Herbert against the New York Jets, Mike Davis against the Detroit Lions, Kalen Ballage against the New York Jets
