We have returned with our Five Favorite Bets Week 9! In Week 8, we were surprised by two underdogs covering the spread but still went 3-3 (shoutout to the Bengals!). Our Season record is now 22 wins, 14 losses, and 2 pushes.

Seattle Seahawks at Buffalo Bills
This game will be one of the best matchups in Week 9. The Seahawks boast the best record in the NFC at 6-1. The Bills also come into this game with an impressive 6-2 record. Seattle has to travel to the east coast for this game, and I expect this to be a high scoring affair. As great as Seattle’s offense is, their defense has remained pitiful. They are giving up nearly 500 yards of offense to opposing teams.
I think Buffalo will use John Brown and Stefon Diggs to attack Seattle in a way Arizona did earlier this year. Josh Allen will have a massive day as Bills will cover as the home underdogs. I like the Over in this game because Seattle can’t stop anyone.
Pick: Buffalo +2.5 ( Bonus Play: take the Over)
Denver Broncos at Atlanta Falcons
The Broncos had a huge come from behind victory over the Chargers in Week 8 and the Falcons were able to beat the Panthers on Thursday night. Atlanta opens as a 4-point favorite at home and I don’t trust them to win that comfortably.
Drew Lock looks to be finally getting into a rhythm with his weapons and should have another big day against a suspect Atlanta defense. As we have seen all year, Atlanta has a hard time closing teams out, and I think the Broncos will mount a comeback in this game.
Pick: Broncos +4
Chicago Bears at Tennessee Titans
The Bears and Titans both come into this game, coming off two straight losses. While the Titans were soundly beaten on the road by the Bengals, the Bears lost an overtime thriller to the Saints at home. The Titans have had a hard time all year blowing anyone out; their win over the Bills came off of nearly two weeks of rest. The Bears are 5-2 against the spread this year and have won outright four times. I don’t know if Chicago will play a complete game this week, but I think they can cover the number.
Pick: Bears +6
New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
It’s a rematch of Week 1 and the Bucs will be unveiling Antonio Brown in this matchup of division rivals. Tampa is firing on all cylinders and is adding another weapon to their arsenal. Gronk has scored a touchdown in three straight games and looks to settling into his role on this offense. The Saints should be getting Michael Thomas back this week and will need him. Alvin Kamara is having a sensational year, but he needs help. This matchup will be a shootout, and all the stars will be putting on a show.
Pick: Over 54.5
Pittsburgh Steelers at Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys are an absolute mess. Andy Dalton will miss this week as well for the 2-6 Cowboys. Dallas is facing the best team in the NFL, which is coming off of a huge win. This game will get ugly. Pittsburgh is better than Dallas at every level. The Steelers win this big; this game is just a significant mismatch. Of all of the NFL Week 9 picks, this gives me the most confidence.
Pick: Steelers -13.5
