Tuesday’s Ten Thoughts For Week 6

Week 6 was filled with upsets and a clearer picture of who a contender and who is a pretender. Let’s Dive into our Tuesday’s Ten Thoughts For Week 6.

Green Bay is Good, Not Great

For several weeks, I was one of those people who was fooled by the Green Bay Packers. They were blowing out opponents with underperforming stats and winning pretty. It looked like everything was rolling, and that was the case Sunday. They were up 10-0 on the Bucs but never scored again. The Bucs ran off 38 unanswered points.

Green Bay’s 4 wins all came against teams that did not have a losing record coming into the game. Green Bay will need to bounce back as Tampa showed the blueprint to beat them. Stop the run, double Davantae Adams, and hit Rodgers repeatedly.

Rams Have Only Beat The NFC East

The Rams were sitting at 4-1, and everyone was touting them as a contender. But everyone failed to notice all four wins came against the NFC East, which is by far the worst division in football. The Rams can only play on the schedule, but when they played the Bills and the 49ers, who are getting healthy, they couldn’t get it done. I think this is an 8-8 to 9-7 team. I don’t believe in Jared Goff.

Big Nick Energy and the Defense Carries The Bears To 5-1

The Bears handled business again on Sunday by going into Carolina and beating the Panthers, who were on a three-game winning streak. Their defense is playing with attitude and flying all over the place. They forced three turnovers on the Panthers (also had a pick-six called back) and hit Bridgewater all game long.

The Bears have beaten both the Buccaneers and Panthers, who had winning records. The Bears are winning games with defense and an offense that won’t make mistakes. It isn’t pretty, but it’s working. They currently sit as the two seed in the NFC and lead the NFC North. The Team is 3-1 with Nick Foles in the line-up.
