Before we dive into our five favorite bets for Week 6, let’s recap Week 5. Last week went 3-3 on our picks (Thanks Browns!)That brings our season total to 12 wins, 7 losses, and 2 pushes.
Green Bay Packers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
In a battle of two of the greatest quarterbacks, I am going to choose another upset here and pick Tampa Bay to hand Green Bay their first loss. Tom was pissed during that last loss and has 10 days to get ready for this game. The Bucs bounce back after a much need 10 days off. It’s hard to bet Aaron Rodgers against who is playing the best football of his career but I smell an upset brewing for the Bucs. Tom Brady was very upset at how Week 5 against the Bears went, he will come out firing.
Pick: Bucs Money ( and of course +1)
Detriot Lions at Jacksonville Jaguars
The Lions offense is finally healthy and is coming off a bye. The Jaguars are been falling apart after their Week 1 win over the Colts. The Lions have a potent offense and the Jaguars have a putrid defense. The Jags can also put up points in a hurry. I am expecting a shootout in this game with both teams lighting up the scoreboard.
Pick: Over 54
Houston Texans at Tennesee Titans
The Texans finally got their first win of the season after getting rid of Bill O’Brien. Meanwhile, the Titans played a game for the first time in what feels like forever and upset the undefeated Buffalo Bills. The Titans are still undefeated on the season and it will continue for one more week.
Pick: Titans -3.5
News York Jets at Miami Dolphins
In a game that was moved up a few weeks from Week 9 in the COVID scheduling changes, I think the result is the same any week. The Jets cut their best player on offense and are spiraling towards the #1 pick in the draft. The Dolphins are coming off a massive upset on the road and continue their momentum. Betting against the Jets has been a good idea this season and this is the lock of our Five Favorite Bets For Week 6.
Pick: Dolphins -9.5
Atlanta Falcons at Minnesota Vikings
This will be another game between two offenses that can score in a hurry and two defense that will give up a lot of points in a hurry. I am expecting the Vikings to have a strong showing at home and take advantage of a depleted Falcons secondary. The Falcons finally fired Dan Quinn and that might give their team an extra pep in their step this week that they have not had in a few weeks.
Pick: Over 54.5
Those are our five favorites for Week 6! Best of luck with all your tickets.
