Week 4 showed us who are the contenders and who might just be some pretenders. So, let’s dive into our Tuesday’s Ten Thoughts For Week 4.
The Packers are scaring me.
As a diehard Chicago Bears fan, this pains me to write but the Green Bay Packers are looking damn good. We have discussed the last few weeks how well Aaron Rodgers has been playing and their offense is continuing to produce even with injuries to Davantae Adams and Allen Lazard.
What’s impressed me is how good their defense is playing. Holding the Atlanta Falcons who had all their weapons (not 100%) playing to only 16 points is impressive. Jaire Alexander continues to ascend as one of the best corners in football and the Smith tandem might be the best there is in the NFL at rushing the passer.
Seattle Continuing To Truck Along
Seattle won a hard-fought game against the Dolphins in nearly 90-degree weather in October. They continue to win and their offense is running like a well-oiled machine. As long as this team stays healthy, they will be playing in the NFC Championship game.
Cardinals Are Not For Real
When they were 2-0, the Arizona Cardinals were the darlings of the NFL and everyone was excited to see how far they could fly. They have since dropped 2 games in a row to two teams that are inferior (or that we thought at least) to them. This team doesn’t look to be ready quite yet.
