Every Thursday we will pick the upcoming games for that week to kick off our coverage. Let’s dive into the NFL Week 2 Picks!
Bengals at Browns
The Browns were embarrassed by the Ravens and dismantled in Week 1 and looked like the same old Browns. The Cincinnati Bengals lost a heartbreaker to the Chargers after rookie Joe Burrow drove them down the field. They had the game-winning touchdown nullified due to offensive pass interference and their kicker missed the chip shot game-tying field goal.
The Browns are a mess but at this point still have more offensive talent than the Bengals. I expect this game to be close but for the Browns to gut it out in the 4th quarter. A big showing from Odell Beckham Jr would not surprise me.
Giants at Bears
The Bears won a thriller in Week 1 roaring back from a 17-point 4th quarter deficit while the Giants lost their home opener to the Steelers. The Giants offense struggled in the home opener big time. Daniel Jones threw 2 interceptions and sacked 3 times. Running back Saquon Barkley was held to six yards on 15 carries.
I expect the Bears defense to have a field day against the Giants offensive line, especially with free-agent acquisition Robert Quinn expected to suit up and make his debut.
Falcons at Cowboys
Dallas lost a tough game on the road due to a controversial offensive pass interference call and the Falcons were beatdown by the Seahawks. I think Dallas bounces back in Week 2 against a suspect Falcons defense.
