In 2020, the NFL will introduce an additional Wild Card team. The Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, and Minnesota Vikings will be viable playoff contenders, and all three could potentially make the playoffs together. The Lions made some excellent moves in the off-season but are only favored to win four games this year.
I have the Bears and Packers both finishing 10-6 ahead of the Vikings and Lions. The division winner will likely come down to multiple tiebreakers with the Vikings, Packers, and Bears all finishing with 4-2 division records. It will be a tight race between the three with the Vikings finishing just behind them with a 9-7 record. I’ve predicted only five wins for the Lions, but they have the potential to grab a few more.
