Kareem Hunt

The total for Kareem Hunt is currently set at 58.5 receptions for the 2020 season. I think that it’s a hard goal for him to achieve. There are a lot of weapons on the Cleveland Browns: Jarvis Landry, Odell Beckham Jr, Austin Hooper, Nick Chubb, and (for now) David Njoku. I think Hunt will provide value in the Browns passing game but I also believe he will fall short of 59 receptions. Last year, in eight games, Kareem Hunt amassed 37 receptions. Based on that trend, you would assume that he would eclipse that in 2020.
However, with all the other weapons on the Browns, I just don’t see how he could amass 58 receptions. Especially when he is the fourth or fifth option in the receiving game. With the investments, they have made in acquiring Landry, Beckham, and Hooper, I would expect Stefanski to have the offense go through them. Hunt will have a solid year but will finish below the 59 receptions required to hit the Over.
